Humble Warrior

pyramid.png
Humble warrior - an asana in which the yogi stands firmly with their legs in warrior I position, clasps their arms behind their back to widen through the chest, and bows and releases their torso forwards.

To me, this posture is a beautiful metaphor for my approach to life - standing strong and balanced, rooted to the ground, while opening the heart and accepting and surrendering to the changes of life that we have no control over - the perfect balance of effort and ease.

"Humility is the essence of love and intelligence; it is not an achievement."

My Approach

Integrating yoga into my physical therapy practice allows me to heal my patients and clients in holistic way - addressing not only the site of injury, but the entire body, along with the wellness of the mind and the spirit.

The first step to transforming your health is learning to truly pay attention to what your body is telling you in each moment, and honoring whatever that is intentionally. I create space and teach the tools you need to learn to listen to your body, cultivate trust in its messages, and foster deeper connection between your body and your mental and spiritual well-being.

Lasting change in the body follows the conscious decision to accept whatever you currently feel, then committing to dedicating time and effort into a consistent practice to improve your posture, flexibility, strength, and/or balance.

I am here as your guide to encourage, empower, and assure you along your individual journey, but you hold the power within yourself to heal, and I am so excited to help you discover that and find your self-harmony.
